Get On Your Feet!
It's time to get out of the house and move! No formal dance training is required to enjoy this course, but rather, a desire to move to upbeat music and to join a group of women who need a break from the weekly routine. Each session will begin with a Yoga, Pilates, and Ballet based warm-up to loosen joints while building core muscle strength. It will conclude by learning dance routines that playfully challenge the body and mind.
A course for adult women ages 25+
Arrival and stretching time is 8:15
Course begins at 8:30, duration 1.5 hours with short water breaks.
Tea and refreshments will be offered after class.

Mother tongue, Non-native speakers, and English learners are all welcome to come practice their English together.
Make-up Day: If the instructor is absent during the course due to illness, a make-up day will be Friday, November 1, 2019.
What to wear?: Please wear flexible workout clothing, thick socks or bare feet, and bring a water bottle.
Enrollment: This course will take place if a minimum of 2 participants enroll. Enrollment for this course will reach a maximum at 5 participants.

As a graduate of the University of Michigan’s prestigious Musical Theatre department and a member of the Actor’s Equity Association, Melissa Tranchet, performed professionally in New York City and toured the United States in such shows as Oklahoma!, NINE, Merrily We Roll Along, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cinderella, Brigadoon, My Fair Lady, and many more. Over the past decade, Melissa’s creative journey in Switzerland has lead her to direct, choreograph, and teach with various groups, including Zürich International School, the Zürich based theatre group ComunicArt, the young women's choir Jugendstimmen Zürich, Places! Adliswil, and the Vollgas Theater group through the Insieme Luzern. Melissa is currently the president of the Theater Arts Collaborative (TAC), a Verein located in Canton Zürich. TAC brings together performing arts professionals to promote English language learning through theatre and music productions. Melissa’s latest project is as the creator, curator, and owner of The Practice Room GmbH, located in Winterthur, Switzerland. The Practice Room offers courses in well-being and the performing arts which support the learning desires of her local neighborhood.
