Christian Langenegger is a Swiss-Canadian teacher, entrepreneur and consultant with a flair for food and wine and a passion for running and photography.
In 2009, he founded the language school Marathon Sprachen with a friend. He ran the business with his business partner until the end of 2014, when he helped start Zurich’s first craft beer bar: The International Beer Bar. In late 2015, having helped build three companies, Christian joined the boutique consultancy firm Swiss Approach Group Ltd, where he works today on numerous engagements from startups to corporates tackling areas such as employee engagement, digitalisation, and go-to-market.
An enthusiastic runner, Christian dove off the deep end and trained for his first marathon in four months in late summer 2009. Since then he’s completed over 50 marathon and ultra-marathon races.
When he’s not running or consulting, Christian is most likely to be found in one of the far-flung corners of Switzerland learning about an obscure town or tradition and reporting it on the online magazine Newly Swissed. He also has a personal travel blog, that he runs with his girlfriend titled Helvetia & Beyond.Read More
Michaela Albright Fuchs is a storyteller, a certified yoga teacher, an international theatre teacher for kids and youth, and a mom. Having been a lifelong seeker of knowledge, experience, and wisdom, and through in-depth self-development and inner work over the past 4-5 years, Christof has found a passion in teaching/coaching others and sharing his experiences for the betterment of those around him. He considers himself an eternal student, as well as a teacher, and finds expertise to be relative, with an intention of sharing all that he has learned thus far, as gratitude for those who taught to him.
His career background has been IT/software development, until entering the field of life coaching in the past 3 years. He played high level handball for over 20 years and now continues to be a competitive athlete and coach in the fields of Crossfit and Olympic Weightlifting.
Upon meeting Christof, it is clear how much compassion and kindness emerges through his soul, along with an “easiness” for life, and also how much he wants to share those gifts with others. He believes that we learn best when we combine visceral experiences with intellect, along with some added fun, of course. Christof is incredibly open-minded, non-judgmental and full of love. He hopes to impact this world in more ways than one and the Practice Room totally aligns with the change he wishes to see in the world.
